I just realized I not only met but surpassed my New Years Resolution of '08 to do 12 pieces of art and like them enough to upload them here. I did 17, though I glued some of the seventeen together because I felt they were stronger that way. It make's me wonder about about what I should make my achievement for New Year's '09 Maybe I should try for 20 piece's of art next year. I think maybe by then I might be more confident to take paid commissions, but I don't know that's going to be a big step for me.

I've found a pretty comfortable home here, as well as a few other art sites and internet forums. I just got to do something about my gaming addiction though. Actually it's gone past gaming since it's really only one game causing the problem and usually gamers enjoy more than just one game. Shit I wouldn't even call it enjoyment half the time. *Shakes fist at endless grid fest* Yes I'm talking to you WoW, And yes I'm talking to my WoW icon. A lot of people talk to objects, it's not that strange.

That damn commercial they're playing right now for it...yeah truer words haven't been spoken. "Just when I think I'm out, They pull be back in." Perhaps if I add parent controls on my WOW account, and pretend that my internet will get turned off if I don't produce more art I'll be more productive. Probably not. XD

OH! I actually went to a Comic convention a few months back that was decent. I got Frickin' Q from Star Trek: TNG Autograph! /fangirl It was awesome ^_^ A couple artists there knew me (le shock) and wondered why I didn't get an art booth with them. It's something to think about I suppose, but for the kind of art I'm interested in making I don't know if a family comic con would be the best place to try and get known. XD
